Kevin Coogan RIP

I’m really sad about the death of Kevin Coogan today. I hope he’ll be remembered as the excellent scholar he was, as well as a genuinely wonderful person. He and I had some lengthy email correspondence that I hoped wouldn’t have ended so abruptly. His last email to me was February 23, and I never got a chance to respond. Anyway, here is a PDF of two of his really good articles for Hit List:
